Ok, so today I am writing something different. If you have read my two previous post about my country, you will notice how fascinated I am about the mysterious legacy of native cultures of my country and the gods who come from the stars!
I know my blog is a mix of everything! but I just can say welcome to my chaos! welcome to my world! maybe I should change the name of this blog to chaos! because is something like that, we have music, theories, artwork, movies, places all mixed in one place! And one day I will write about one thing while the next day I write about something completely different! so people welcome to my chaos!
So now lets start today's post!
Ancient Astronauts Theory
The Question
For centuries the mankind has been asking the same question
in the transmission of history. Are we alone in the universe? Even till the
present day humans are still asking the same question. What if not? What sort
of beings lives outside in the universe? Before during medieval era this
question was out of place, after all human beings by that time used to be the
centre of the universe…slowly in modern days the idea of others species living
out in the universe is not strange anymore and scientist are looking for other
planets similar to planet earth that may hold life similar to human species.
The theory
Now there is another question floating in the air… what if
in ancient times a civilization from another planet came to planet earth and
helped us to shape history?
Some skeptics will deny this question and rapidly throw it
to the rubbish, literally saying.
But to others this theory actually opened the door, to the phenomenon
called “paleocontact Hypothesis” and quickly has been accepted and gaining its
followers and awakening the curiosity of others…
Why such a
popularity?
While for ones this theory is completely out of the question,
others have slowly accepted and studying more about it, bringing amazing
discoveries and what could be clear evidence that supports this. But why this
theory was not eliminated the moment that was suggested? It could be excused by
the reason that at that time, the man gave the first step on the moon and then
movies like Star Trek and similar series possessed a huge amount of popularity
and people liked the idea of aliens coming to earth.
The names behind
the theory
The man who introduced this theory to the society in latest 60s and early 70s was Erich von Daniken with his book “Chariot of the
Gods?” in this book he suggest the idea that aliens have visited humans in
ancient times and made contact with humans, sharing knowledge and getting
involve with humans. Von Daniken travels
around the world and observes big perfect monuments that until present day is unknown
how this were built and even when exist many theories proposed by
archaeologist, these are not the ones that answer the big mystery of many
monuments.
Then studying deeper into ancient stories, there similarity
in each story in every part of the world.
Von Daniken has never imposed this theory as true law, in
his book is full of question marks, he is suggesting his theory and people have
thought that this theory makes sense and rapidly gained more followers…
The followers of
the astronauts
Von Daniken is the one who made the big step when releasing
his book, but nothing stopped him and kept releasing more sequential books
where he studies into more detail and provides more detailed information
supporting his theory.
Names like Giorgio A.
Tsoukalos, Zecharia Sitchin,
Robert K. G. Temple,
David Icke, and Peter Kolosimo, just to name a few are the
ones who followed Von Daniken steps and kept studying ancient history to bring
more evidence that supports them.
TV channel History Channels released the series “Ancient
Aliens” produced by Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, which has 6 seasons so far and has
gained great attention and rapidly the theory has won many fans around the
world.
UFO fever
Since early 70s UFO
have become quite a popular subject, maybe Roswell case can blamed, even till
present day, Roswell is an enigma and because of it people started to had a
common idea of what an alien can look alike and the concept of UFOs flying
earth quickly was accepted.
Today groups of people gather around the world filming the
skies in search of UFOs and there are actually quite impressive videos around
the internet, if you search you will be amazed.
Tricks
Yes, there are also videos that can be proved false. And
people trying to mock others would always be there. It is just like every phenomenon
around the world. Remember that famous photo of the lake ness monster? Just a
myth … but we like it or not people still believes the monster is there and who
knows it may be there… So the same about UFOs in the sky, they might be there
right now, so if they are flying now why not to think that they have been
flying in these skies in ancient times?
The Evidence
So far everything it is just a supposition, after all a
theory is a proposal of an idea that still is not hundred per cent proved as an
absolute true and that can change within time.
But in this theory in particular that seems so rootless,
where is the evidence that can support it? To the exponents of this theory that
answer is in the front of our eyes, there is no need to search deep into
something, we just need to read and observe properly with open mind and
logically.
Many ancient cultures around the world believed in gods,
many deities with different skills that took humans under their care and gave
them knowledge. But weren’t these gods in somehow very humans? What is the concept of god? A powerful,
perfect deity who is full of love, right? Now remember the gods, like the Greek
gods, they were very human, they were jealous, hated, wanted revenge and acted
completely opposed to what god is, right? Now sceptics say: “Those are myths”
and we can ask: are myths actually fiction? How come our ancestors were able to
imagine such a things! They described big fights in the skies and described
beings similar to us but powerful.
Thinking like
Ancient times
For one moment try to imagine yourself as one of your
ancient ancestor and think if you see a plane, what will you think? Remember in
those time there was no technology, how could you describe it then? … Will you
describe it like the things you know? Like a comparison … so if you saw a
plane, you can compare the plane with a giant bird, because you are only
familiarised with a bird, but this bird leaves traces of smoke behind, so what
is the smoke, fire? Then the bird had a fire tail… do you notice it? Suddenly a
plane became a giant bird with a tail of fire, doesn’t sound like a mythical
animal?
That is what the exponents of this theory propose, that our
ancestor misinterpreted the technology of this higher intelligence that is why
there so many similar myths around the world that very similar.
Breaking down
statements
What happens with church, religion and the famous theory of
evolution? Why do I even mention them?
This Theory also
touches our origins as human race and brings down all what Darwin suggested and
what the church tell us. The bible is another myth after all and if we read it
in the same way as a myth, there are amazing descriptions of what we can say is
technology now on day. So was Jesus an alien? Maybe, maybe not…but maybe what
the bible wanted to say is that humans being were made to the similarity of the
gods who came and visited us, which means that our DNA was modified by them…
and that could explain what Darwin could never understand of how quick the
evolution of the homo sapiens has been that there is no logical way of
explaining: The missing piece of the puzzle.
Then what happens with Adam and Eve? Maybe they were the
first human created by the interference of the genes.
What will happen if this is true? It will be the big mess!
Everything we were told was a lie or a huge misunderstanding and again we would
have to change the way we understand our existence.
Just a small percentage of our DNA has been decode, the rest
scientists call it junk DNA but actually is not, they call like that just
because the computer and software they use is not familiarized with those
components but maybe when scientist finally decode it an answer could be there.
The outcome
The theory as many theories in history have people who
reject it completely and find no fundaments and there are others who accepted,
study it so can provide more evidence to support it. Anyhow this theory gives a
completely different view of human ancient history and is an open question that
anyone can try to answer.
