May - Top 10 Songs

A bit late but here it is my top 10 songs, once again, there is no particular order. Also, these songs are not recent, are songs that I have played a lot that month.

1- Ajax - 2MYX

This boy group was promising but unfortunately, all of the sudden, I never heard of them again, damn you DSP ¬¬

2- SS501 - Love Ya

I loved this group, they didn't have the fancy dance moves but still they the coolest! and their voices were just perfect and the perfect songs.

3- One Ok Rock - One Way Ticket

Do I need to say anything? It is OOR and their songs are just perfection! I know many people don't like their new album but I do even though there is a song I can't stand u.u

4- Park JungMin - Not Alone

I love his voice! I loved the strings presence on this song and the story line of this video.

5- My First Story - Love Letter

I am not much of a fan of slow love songs but this one just melts my heart and makes me picture a sweet story line.

6- VIXX - Error

The song I never understand why I like it...in somehow it is plainsong, it should bore me but it does not... the dance is creative and has a good concept.

7- Linkin Park - Crawling

An old song, this album was one of my first cds I bought, I loved this album so much!

8- Nu'est - Face

Another group that had amazing start and continuous great songs and all of the sudden no one ever heard of them...damn Pledis ¬¬

9- Born - Mother

10- Infinite - Bad

Last but not least, one of my fav boy bands in the kpop industry, the incredible boys of Infinite. This song it is so damn catchy, I love the kind of creepy element in their music video and even though is not my fav song from them it is very good and enjoyable.

Top 10 Songs March 2017

So I am uploading my top 10 songs of march, I know it is April but I had to upload. Life has been busy, I started my new job and my niece and nephews have born and everything is upside down! Anyways with no further due here are the songs!

1- Paradise - The Rasmus

So my first song is completely biased, I know this song actually came pretty much the last day of the month but is The Rasmus and I have been waiting for them for so long!!!

2- Be a Man- MBLAQ

Now here comes the melancholy, I honestly love these guys! and I do miss them, this group was great, they were classy, sexy, manly and full of talent.

3- Wake Me Up - B.A.P

A very anticipated single and did not disappoint at all, I love the message of the song and the message that is manifested on the music video, also loved the fact that the music video had western actors, it just gave a feeling that was easier to relate yourself, if it makes sense what I mean.

4- Awake - BTS (Jin)

I have been obsessed with this song, I have been trying to learn this song with all my best. I just love how this song go low and then high, it is just beautiful!

5- Feel Like - Alexandros

I am actually unsure if I have mentioned this song before but this song has that something that makes you smile and sing and dance along.

6- HIM - The Path

From one of my favorite bands, who sadly announced they will stop making music ( broken heart) I pretty much love every single song of them but this one is special, not only is part of one of my tattoos but the meody has an amazing contrast.

7- Isolation - Nightmare

This song always gives me a feeling of melancholy, it is just perfect for autumn.

8- FXXk It - Big Bang

This song has a fun element, it is very catchy and just enjoyable.

9- The Eye - Infinite

At the beginning this song didn't have much attractive but later I grew fond of it, this sing just has the 'Infinite' element ^^

10- Honey - L'arc en Ciel

And lastly a classic! This song rocks and is one of those oldies but goodies, if you know what I mean.

So that was my March selection, hope you like it!

February Top 10 Songs

Hello again,
It is March already and I am finally uploading my February songs!! So let's start with the songs!

1- BTS - Not Today

So once again BTS is leading the list, these guys have completely stolen my heart and ears! Every song the release is better than expected and there no words to describe how awesome they are. This song I heard it a full day, I just put it in replay and couldn't get tired of it.

2- BAP - That's my Jam

It has been a while since I don't hear B.A.P, I don't know why I really like them, they are a group that experiments with their sound and they make it work and this song just gives you something that makes you want to enjoy the moment.

3- One Ok Rock - Bombs Away

Coming back to my rock roots, and even though many people criticizes OOR saying that they have become 'pop' I think ambitions has many good songs to offer and people need to open their heart to this album.

4- Alexandros - Kaiju

This song is just 'awesome' and even though I quite don't get the lyrics but I know Kawakami-san writes lyrics that doesn't really have meaning, it is just the charm of this song but the sound is great and I love the music video concept.

5- BTS - Spring Day

Coming back to kpop and the lovely guys of BTS, Spring day and a melancholic sound, have you watched the video? the colours, the concept works along with the lyric, it is just a beautiful song.

6- BAP - SkyDive

B.A.P is once again on the list, with their latest song (not anymore Rose single is coming!) This song is powerful, that power that characterizes B.A.P

7- BAP - Feels Good

And once again, this song has a nice feeling like that;s my jam but more easy going not so playful and enjoyable, if it makes sense what I say.

8- Agust D - Fly Away

My favourite song from Agust D mixtape, the nice rap, followed my the lovely voice of the female singer ( sorry I can't remember her name), is not melancholic but a song that makes you dream. ( again my descriptions don't make much sense)

9- Alice Nine + -

My beloved boy of Alice Nine (A9) are finally on this list, to be honest, there is no song, I don't love from this band, after all, they are one of my fav bands. This song has the nice rock melody but without being too strong, maybe a bit pop but not too much but still powerful enough.

10- Hyde - Made in Heaven

And lastly one of my first Japanese platonic loves! ( first is Kamijo) I am a huge fan of L'arc en Ciel and a huge fan of HYDE solo songs and Vamps too. This guy is awesome! His voice is powerful and never fails to surprise, this song has power and is addictive and is even better if you hear it quite loud.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, that is my Feb list, hope you like it! and I am already taking notes for my March list and if you have songs suggestions, please write them, I love to hear new music, I have a tendency to stay in my comfort zone but then every time I adventure myself into listening something new I end up with a band or group that captivates me.

January Top 10 Songs

So today I am sharing the top 10 songs I been listening and replying over and over again this month. Now, these songs are not new songs of the month, some are quite of years ago but for some reason, they just have that something that makes me want to reply over and over again.

1- Blood, Sweat and Tears - BTS

This k-pop group has completely captured me, honestly, I think I am obsessed with them, it has been a while since I am not crazy about a Korean boy group. The song it is catchy and makes me want to replay it over and over again.

2- We Are - One Ok Rock
One amazing song from their latest album Ambitions, I wasn't sure what to expect from their new album as the lyrics of the previously released songs from this album didn't excite me too much. However, when I heard this song, I felt that despite the change of music style that has taken doesn't affect the good quality this song has. The lyrics really moved me and inspired me. When heard the special live version, I cried, I am not lying is just really touching.

3- Heroine - Sleeping with Sirens
I started to listen to this band last year, funny that me being an emo/ punk/ rock person didn't hear of this band before. Anyways this song for some reason just captured me and I play it quite often. I don't really get the lyrics completely and in somehow that is the factor that I like is that the lyrics that can have different interpretations.

4- Feel Like - [Alexandros]
I have been listening to this band for a year or so, was love at first hear (if it makes sense), this song has that cool vibe, it is catchy, positive and makes you want to sing along while dancing too.

5- Fire - BTS
Once again BTS is in my list with this catchy and powerful song. While listening to this song it is impossible not to want to move and try to dance, I have even tried to learn the choreography but it is a difficult dance.

6- Agust D - Agust D (Suga - BTS)
I am not really in rap, hip hop or R & B style. However, I listened to Suga's mixtape out of curiosity because he is a member from BTS, to my surprise I loved it and listen to it quite often. I like his lyrics, I think he completely went out the idol stereotype of a perfect person, he talks about everything, depression, hard work, people bashing him, etc... His rap is sharp and even though I cannot understand what he is saying it feel like he is able to transmit his feelings.

7 - Can't Help Falling in Love with You - Elvis Presley
Quite an old song but a good one. This song is a classic. I am not much of a fan of ballad songs but Elvis is Elvis, he has such a nice variety of love songs, this one is slow, calm, simple and beautiful.

8- Run Away - Kim Jae Joong
A beautiful short ballad by this amazing Korean singer. I am a fan of his since he was in TVXQ/DBSK and I do love his solo albums, they have some rock in it and feels more like him. This song is simple and really nice to listen to while looking at a window or walking through the park.

9- Lie - BTS(Jimin)

This song it has just something, how starts and how continues. Is a song that gives you suspense, Jimin's voice suits very well, his high notes and how smooth it is. The only thing I don't like about it is how it ends, it feels abrupt, it ends to sudden if it could end in a similar way as it starts it could have been perfect.

10- Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimattan Darou - TVXQ
And lastly another slow song by the great TVXQ... they were the first kpop group I went crazy for and still like them. This song belongs to their Japanese career as they were huge in Japan and it is one of the most beautiful songs they have, is melodic, they way their voices sync, it is just perfect.

So here are the songs of my month, as probably you noticed a lot of Kpop this month and especially BTS, well I will continue sharing and uploading things like this to my blog so like that I can post more often and not forget about it. I hope you enjoy the songs.

Xia's Mini Album "Just Yesterday"

Just as another I check my phone and just scroll down on facebook, for my susprise there was a post with the new music video of Xia Junsu and even more surprising was to know he released a new mini album. (note; I am not really following what are the new releases so when I know about one of an artist of my interest I get quite surprised!)
Ofcourse I inmediatly downloaded on my phone and purchasing online.
Is not easy purchase online as it is more expensive for foreings than koreans, however I have such an admiration for Xia as a solo artist that I purchase every album, single and mini album which unfortunatly don't do with all my fav artists.

Before going to work I had to watch the video, Junsu's voice never dissapoints, as always is smooth, soft and sweet and powerful. What I love the most of his voice is the ability to manifest feelings so powerfully in every song. You don't have to understand inmediatly what the lyrics is about, his voice is just enough to grasp what feeling he is trying to manifest... and that is one of a kind true artist!

The video had a sad and apocalyptic concept and was quite real. The lovers were separated by the inevetible death. It had a feeling of Armagedon...it was first time for me to see such a clear end of the world on a kpop music video. However I am not saying I love the video or nothing like that, just that I found interesting the concept. It gives me the impression Junsu is a ghost or maybe death itself, he is just there, noone sees him.

Now the album...As previous albums, there is nothing that dissapoints you at all, it is a work of art! Every song is different, sweet and with its own energy, no song is similar to the other one, all different and complements each other, each song form a beautiful and splendid mini album, and just makes you regret that it is a mini album and not a full lenght album.

Now I might get some hate from people who will read this, but I suddenly remember. There are few solo artist in South Korea who are indeed good and I remember reading about musicians who could become succesful music producers, ofcourse GDragon was top head of the list. Now don't misunderstand me people, I think GD indeed is good artist and I admire him as well, However I think GD it has way too much spotlight and Junsu is away from it. I think Junsu is indeed a true artist and indeed can become one of a kind producer. Now GD and Junsu are different, they have different styles, however both are awesome artists!
Now when I saw Junsu's perfomance on musical I was completlty amazed! Unfortunatly I have never seen it live, only on Youtube, however you can see clearly on his performance the amazing talent and quality of his voice, his stage charisma is just mind blowing!

In few words what I want to say is maybe Junsu doesn't have all the spotlight he deserves. I mean his talent is not only amazing as a korean artist but I would say as well he could become an amazing worldwide artist, he is just brilliant. And his talent is something that the western music culture is missing now on day, so I wish he would become even more succesful. I know in South korea he is a banned artist that can present himself  on tv or shows, which is a real shame and makes me feel upset a bit with korean media and how things work there, because they are restricting a real talent and a real truly artist! So I hope in general Junsu gets all the spotlight he deserves.
Now people if you haven't listen to his song, I have to say you must listen to him and you already familiar and just haven't listen his new mini album then I have to suggest then please take the time and listen to it because it is a wonderful mini album.

B.A.P - Where Are You? What Are You Doing?

So today is Music review day, so today's music review is B.A.P's come back!

To be honest I was scared of this come back, the promotional pictures really freaked me out, I thought was going to be a come back like Stop It or Crush. So quite scared I watched the MV yesterday and gave a sigh of relief.
Honestly I really like their though image, like in Warrior, Power,No Mercy or One Shot and I am not really fan of their cute side but love the style of coffee shop.

The song is lovely is a nice mix of coffee shop with a more lively and sweet tune. Love the beginning with the sound of the harmonica and then we start we the sweet voice of Daehyun and Youngjae. Honestly speaking this time everyone's voice fit perfectly with the melody, even Zelo who usually has a lot of energy on his rap, this time he slows down and goes with the melody perfectly.
Maybe was a risky change of style but I think it was a sucess. The song I can listen to it over and over again.

The video, is nice to look at, the scenes of London are beautiful. They guys are cute but not like in Crush, to be honest I like more in this video, is like a bit more natural, even though I am not fan of cute guys to be honest but the scenery of London really captivates you.
But the continuous smiles and the moving the head to side to side when the whistle melody is on, it kind of annoys me but again that is just me because I am not fan of cute attitude in guys. But I do like when they goof around :)

The single for my surprise only has two songs, the first one the promotional song and a second one called
오늘은 꼭, which start with a melody that made remember a sweet jazzy song, so I could describe this song as a jazzy pop song, quite simple and sweet. Once again sweet soft voices that match nicely with the softness of the song, as well as the rap with slow peace.

Conclusion, their come back is really nice, better than expected. A nice slow tune. B.A.P took the risk of something different and they succeed. These two tracks are the type of songs that you won't bore you at all and suit in anytime.

IU - Naui Yetnal Iyagi(나의 옛날이야기) (My Old Story)

So today I am writing about the lovely IU and her comeback

If you are not familiar with her, she a Korean solo artist, very popular idol in South Korea. She started with really cute songs, because she debuted quite young so she had this quite concept, now lately she having more mature songs but different because they are not with a sexy concept like most of female solo artist may have. Her concept is young and fresh and mature too, which is more natural on her it suits her better.

The songs is sad but doesnt feel so sad, is not your typical ballad and I would doubt to call it a ballad because doesn't feel like it.It has an upbeat as well and is slow too.
Actually I prefer this song over her previous promotional song, which was good but this one is better. Now this song sounds like an old song, is it a cover? it could be, sound very much like that.
Because is not a rythm you will listen in modern music industry.
Anyhow the song is nice.

The video, is simple too and has a vintage feeling, again feel like a cover. If someone know please tell me. Usually even though I listen to Kpop, I am not really aware of the news, so it is more like I just listen to it.
I really like this side of IU, I mean I never disliked her cute side, but this one feels more real to me, more natural, without much effort and I love that old fashioned environment the video has. And I actually can understand a story line so it is great!

The Album
The first song is the promotional song, what a great way to start an album ( I really love the song)
Second song 꽃 , start with Spanish guitar (beautiful) her voice in a melody full of melancholy. And in this song her voice is beautiful and powerful, she really fits this melody
Then we have 삐에로는 우릴 보고 웃지, we start the song with clapping and a great jazzy melody, is not up beat but is not slow...it has the perfect beat, not too high or too low, just lovely! ah! and the electric, retro voice before finishing the song a great little detail!
사랑이 지나가면 is the fourth song, we start with a sweet piano and string (not sure if violin or cello) then the sweet voice of IU at a soft peace and the beautiful balance goes through the whole song.
Fifth song is 너의 의미 (Feat. 김창완) , starting with a retro melody and her voice in what we can call a happy melody but not so happy, I mean in sweet way, so it is quite soft (?) plus the song has the male voice, who has a really soft voice tone, making it perfect for the song and is in perfect harmony with IU's voice.
As the sixth song 여름밤의 꿈; and the piano start once again sweetly and full of melancholy, like each piano key is remembering a dear memory and the same can be appreciated in IU's voice, her voice is singing to those melodies, like trying to reach at them.
Lastly we have 꿍따리 샤바라 (Feat. 클론); sound of water just a briefly at the beginning, seems like waves in the rain, her sweet voice in a playful tune, then ukelele plays playfully too. The male voice seems more like talk instead of singing but it follows the harmony of the songs, sound of seagles and the songs keeps playing playfully. A really nice songs that wraps up the album.
In conclusion is an album that I enjoyed listening from the beginning to end and even replayed.
Question, because I don't know...Are these songs covers from old school songs? because it sounds like they are..anyhow if they are covers they are beautifully done :)
Now will leave you with the video

Megan Lee - 8 Dayz

So Hello everyone!
Today I will be writing about an new face in the Kpop idol industry.

For some of you her face may be new for others not. She actually was a youtuber and uploaded videos of herself singing covers from different artists and finally this girl made her debut.

The song is just exquisite! Something different from your usual Kpop songs, very natural indeed, with an indie feeling in it, the type of song that delights your ears.
Her voice is wonderful and you can appreciate so well in this song.
Honestly there is nothing bad to say about this song, just good things because the song is good! As simple as that.

The video is simple and very nice. Not awkward at all to watch, I really liked to watch it because it was natural and fun. She is just being herself while singing and playing the guitar. Again very indie like, which is wonderful.

The only thing I regret is that when I downloaded the single, it was actually just one song. it felt so unfair!
Her debut song really made me want to anticipate more songs from her and I was thinking her single will have at least two songs but not. So that was the only shameful aspect.
So now I really anticipate for more songs from her. For now just enjoy her debut.

5/28/2014

VIXX - Eternity

So today I am happy to write about VIXX comeback!
I was anticipating this so much!

If you are not familiar with them. They are a Korean boy idol group. When they debuted they weren't popular immediately actually it took them a while. I think with "Hyde" they finally made themselves more popular. They started with a bright concept, even kind of cute and slowly they became more dark, with songs like "On & On" their concept was vampires, with "Hyde" was quite dark; their concept was "Dr Hyde and Mr Jekyll" quite an interesting concept and the "Voodoo" was the one, the great one, the concept of a voodoo doll. Now they are known like the dark boys of the Kpop music.
Their dance is amazing, really skilled and the vocals ability, great quality.

The song: Well, what can I say? the song has power and melody. To be honest is a great song. VIXX is back with another great song. love the fact that I can listen more the other member and suit to everyone. The song highlights perfectly each member's voice.
Is a song that easily will get stuck in your head and you wouldn't mind to listen again and again.

The video has a good concept again, is not as dark as Voodoo Doll but still has that darkness but it is different. I like the concept of time, the scenery is also nice. I love how the members act with their eyes and facial expressions.
The choreography is great as well and the boys do it perfectly.
I think VIXX is gaining a good reputation as a Kpop idol group, they have quality. They nice vocals and a perfect dancing skills, their choreographic are just impecable.
Even though I like the time concept. The story line of the video is not new.

The album: the album only has three songs, Eternity, Sad Ending and La La La and Eternity instrumental version.
Sad Ending I imagined to be quite slow, more like a ballad, for my surprise has an upbeat rhythm. Is not strong as Eternity but nice song indeed. Honestly doesn't feel sad at all ^^
Then we have La La La,  the song has the rhythm that you probably could imagine when reading the track title, a nice melody, a vibe the you enjoy listening, like a simple pop song and voices are just perfect.
The we have Eternity instrumental version, if you wish to sing karaoke.

In conclusion this album is really pleasant to listen to. VIXX meet my expectations a really good come back.
I think just as Infinite they have matured vocally (all the members).
So strongly recommend you to listen Eternity (the whole album) Now I live the video to watch :)

5/27/2014

Infinite - Last Romeo (Season 2)

So today I will be writing about a comeback that I was really anticipating.

So Infinite is back, after many marketing procedures for their come back they finally are back with their second full lenght album.
Firts let write about their promotional song "Last Romeo"

Now if you are not familiar with Infinite then you might be asking yourself who are they. Well let me explain in a few words. Infinite is a male idol group, which has seven members. They indeed very popular in Korea and have fans around the globe as well. The famous for their precision in their choreography and always have really nice and catchy songs. They have become so popular lately that they have had last year their first world tour, visiting various places in the world.

So yeah, if you don't know them then just keep reading and watch the video I leave at the end :)
Now let's keep with the review ^o^

The song has that retro, bright aspect that it is really characteristic of Infinite, it sort of made remember their old songs, it is powerful and cheerful. Different from Destiny and Man in Love. To be honest I think it is a really good promotional song, it highlights the vocal ability of each member.Great come back song!

The video, well is not colorful as I expected, quite dark, I think is different from the song.
The style is good though, the black suits and white, quite classic and suit well to each one of them. The dance is what you will expect from Infinite indeed, precision and quality, no doubt these guys work very hard!
I love the idea of the library but I think it could have been developed better, so at the end again the story line doesn't make much sense, but it was a good try.

The album.- Season 2 -
It has ballad, dance songs and solo songs. Very nice album indeed. I am not a ballad fan but must confess that there is a ballad that melts my heart. The dance songs have nice retro beat, a sound we already are familiar with Infinite which is nice to hear again.
Then we have Woohyun solo, a nice soft ballad that highlights his voice perfectly. Then we have Sunggyu's solo, it made me remember his solo debut and actually made me want for a come back of his solo career. The song is nice, the type of song you will enjoy hearing to.
Then we have Infinite H, actually I am not really fond of this song, even though I love Infinite H and loved their debut album! but not even on their first album like their song, I mean I can listen to it but it just doesn't capture me.
And what was new was Infinite F song, I did like it and is very Infinite so in somehow at least for me wasn't much different from a Infinite song.
[UPDATE]
My apologies I didn't write song by song but at the moment I wrote this didn't have the time.So now will write properly.
First we have the intro. Usually I am not attracted to intros, but this one I actually like, is quite dramatic.

Second we Last Romeo, do I have to say it again? I really like it :)

Third we have Follow Me, a very Infinite song, once you listen you will know what I mean, it has that thing like their previous song. I like the upbeat and how the voices follow.

Fourth is 로시난테,another very Infinite song, is one of those songs that make you happy you know what I mean? just listening to it makes you mood better. I love to singing along specially the oooohh oooohhh baby :P

Fifth is 숨 좀 쉬자, another song with great vibe, there is something on this song that makes me remember Come Back Again or maybe is just me.
Sixth we have SungKyu's solo Light, as I mentioned before it made remember his debut album and makes me want for a solo come back. To be honest I love his solo songs, the song is different from Infinite, in a good way, maybe reflects more of his colors (?) I don't know but he has that something

Seventh we have Infinite H's Alone, is different from their debut album, is not favorite but I am not saying is bad. It has more like a mature feeling, I don't know how to explain, is not up beat, but is great to listen the rapping skills of Hoya and Dongwoo

Eighth we got Memories, then we are back to the Infinite style, this song gives me the impression of the sun coming out after the rain. I don't know it has the special something. All voices makes the song perfect.

Ninth we have  나란 사람 and the revolutions go down and we have a nice ballad. Even though I am not ballad fan this song is fantastic, it starts so slow and then SunKyu's voice becomes high and powerful, is a song that gives me the shivers, just love it!The cool things is that the high and powerful part is not only SunKyu but Woohyun, but you can appreciate the colors of their voices nicely.

Tenth we got Reflex and after the sweet slow song we again become ready to dance, with an up vibe song, with that nice retro melody that Infinite has the tendency to have in their songs. It is a sweet song.

Eleventh we have the debut song of Infinite F, the song is  미치겠어follows the nice sweet tune that the previous song had, like a surreal melody, very nice, very Infinite.

Twelfth we have Woohyun's solo song 눈을 감으면, a nice slow ballad, where you can appreciate his vocal quality. This solo song made me remember his first solo song on the first album, so I guess follows that harmony.

And lastly we have 소나기, once again up beat, it doesn't have that sweetness retro, is different but is something that is definitely Infinite and that you only imagine them singing this song. I like the fact that the last song has so much energy.

Conclusion, A good come back indeed! Infinite is one of those bands who have the best quality in the Kpop industry, their dance is perfect and vocals are good as well. So I am glad to hear their music again and with a melody that suit the more. Music with power and brightness as well :)
One thing I forgot to mention is that I love the fact that you can notice that the members have matured vocally, you can appreciate better the voices of the members who usually don't have much lines (Sungyol or Dongwoo) and this time in songs the lines seem more shared between members ^^
Now I will leave their latest music video-Last Romeo-

Kris leaving EXO (Scandal Review)

So today there is no music review and nothing cultural either, sorry.
Have many assessments that need to take care so I will be uploading quickly today.
Today will write about the scandal of Kris, member of EXO.

So for the ones who are not familiar with Kpop, EXO is a very popular Kpop idol group, they have good music and EXO has 12 members...yes 12
Kris is one of the twelve, he is Chinese and is leader of the subdivision EXO-M (Mandarin)
Not very long ago the web portals have being insane publishing what it was the sahocking news of him leaving EXO and rising a lawsuit to SM Ent.
So SM Entertainment is the big shark of music or better said Idol industry. The big idol groups are under this label, like Super Junior, Girls Generation, DBSK, SHINee, F(X), Henry, BoA and ofcourse EXO.
But if you are familiar with these groups then you know that the lawsuit scandal it is not new at all! For the recent generations I will just two of the most popular cases.

First from DBSK, three member left the group and law suited SM. Those three members now are known as JYJ. And well the law was on their favour and they won the case (which means they were right).
Then we have Super Junior's Hangeng case.

Both cases were similar, the law suit stating that SM didn't treat them as people, but as objects (a slave contract) the time stipulated on the contract is insane, 13 years under the company!! and also money matters, they didn't receive the right amount of many they should actually be receiving. So in conclusion the company make them work like slaves, they don't care about their health and if you read about many artist of that label you can notice that they faint, look incredible skinny and despite that they keep promoting. I remember once I read a female idol fainted while practicing for a performance and despite that the staff waited til her regained consciousness and forced to keep practicing and perform and keep performing exhausting hour work, until it was too much and her body reacted and she had to go to the hospital but again SM asks their artists to be professional, which means even if you are dying to have to work, if you vomiting blood you need to speak properly and no matter what pain you may be suffering you smile.
So SM is not famous for being the greatest entertainment industry in Korea and thank you to the few brave ones, we know a bit of how honest and fair policies run around the company.
So know Kris is another brave one, who despite his young age, is standing for his rights!

The reactions in the Kpop fandom are diverse. We can't deny that the new surprised everyone (fan or not fan) then we have the one who don't want to see the reality and are still asking that Kris will come back as nothing, we also have the ones who feel betrayed (?!) who are hating him and writing that he is a treatior. But that is not all we have some support him and are hating EXO and SM. And other who support both.
The reasons why Kris is doing what he is doing are not clear yet, some say is health issues and that he hasn't being treated in a fair way under SM. Both very acceptable reasons but again SM is not famous for being nice.
The interesting it has been the EXO members reaction.
First everyone noticed how Kris was unfollowed by his member on Instagram, which caused great shock. Many fans say was SM staff who took their phones and did this and there are even pictures but we cannot be sure. But that is not it, then we have the messages left on Instagram by fellow member Tao, which is treating Kris as a traitor, a lot of hurtful words towards him and maybe we can say an inmature message.

But that is not all, recently we have words from EXO K's leader Suho where he say how surprised and shocked they were and that they don't have any issues with the label and that Kris should go back and apologize with everyone and calls him irresponsible. Now we don't know really if this message was true or not, because the source is not very liable and there is not proof. And again the reactions are many, some support Suho, some others are now disappointing on him and the interesting ones say it is all SM's fault who forced him to say such things.

Then the most recent I read, was from EXO M's members, all the messages quite similar, they don't have any issues with SM, they feel shocked, they didn't expect that, they will focus on the concert and betray feelings.

The interesting about all of these and is here where I wanted to come to, is that the famous "we are one" statement is being questioned by many fans. They were shocked, they didn't know what he was thinking, he didn't discuss with them. Then how true it is that they were such close friends?
Let's be honest of many idol groups all this friendship almost brotherhood is fabricated! all their image is under a concept, if there is actually a friendship close enough I think it is quite rare. So with this case we can see that the image is portrayed is nothing more than a fake edited picture.
In an group where there are 12 members there must be a lot of rivalry, I mean some members usually have like 3 seconds on a song, and yes unfortunately Kris is the member with less participation when there is 12 and ofcourse it is ideal if everyone is friendly and live happily ever after, but let's be real, the less you participate the less you gain. So of course everyone wants more seconds in a song, appear in the most TV shows possible, etc... Can you blame them? no! it is survival after all!

In conclusion, I will give my very very personal opinion but I guess you can already guess it.
I do support Kris, he is standing for what he is believing it is the right thing to do, and standing against a big company as SM is not easy, he is young and so far very brave!
I also do support EXO members, I do understand it must have being shocking for them to know that all the sudden they are nor 12 anymore and have to continue and have a big step as it is a concert coming. I do undertand if they feel a bit betrayed and disappointed but I think it hasn't been smart or mature at all to manifest it they way they had. In this case I think silence is the best. Imean is never good speaking when feelings or emotions are burnng in your skin because we may say hurtful words and is never a wise choice.
Specially because there is still not enough information out, we still don't know how SM is going to act and probably this case will take a long perior, hopefully not so long as it happen with JYJ though

What I want is that things end up well fro Kris and EXO members. What I really wish is that Kris doesn't go back to SM because after what he has done if he does comeback he won't be treated nicely at all. I will love that some other EXO member follow Kris and go too, they might do with time though because after all it is a matter of time but also I suspect that there are some really loyal members too.In conclusion just let be what is best for everyone.

G.NA - Secret

So today I will be reviewing G.NA's comeback

The cute and sexy G.NA is back  but unfortunately for my personal opinion is not a strong comeback. I am still expecting her to come back with a powerful song that highlights her voice. I still think her debut song and album were the best and after that G.NA lowered her quality but again I know is not her fault it is just her company's fault that are not taking advantage of her voice quality.
Personally I think G.NA apart from having an strong voice her character is different too, she look as she has an strong character and she very confident of herself, so I will like her concept could be reflecting that because it is more herself.

Well the song it is easy to listen to, but it is not easy to remember, is not the type of song that once you listen to it you remember it or sticks on your head, lets say the song lacks of impact. But it is really simple and once you are listening to it you quite like it but doesn't produce to want to replay. Anyhow I think is best than her previous ones but not good enough.

Now the video...it is not so awkward but still is not the most attractive for everyone I think. G.NA is cute and sexy, ok not a very original concept at all, she likes this boy and tries her best to look nice for him for this party or whatever...again nothing new because we see these type of scenes in many female idol videos. There are some awkward scenes though like when they are trying underwear and the guy is peeping on her and also sniffs her underwear, let's add too that at the beginning this guy seems gay so it doesn't fit his perverted actions on the video. Basing this on some comments for most females viewers was no appropriate, other didn't even notice.
In conclusion it is just another female idol comeback, it lacks strength so it will like her other comebacks, not much impact and easily in somehow forgotten. Will have to keep waiting until Cube Ent. give her an appropriate comeback with a strong song such as her debut song.

Hyosung - Top Secret

So! Hello people! The update of today is another music review. And the review will be one of my favorite girls in the kpop world. So today I will be writing about Hyosung's solo debut "Top Secret"

So for the ones who are not familiar with her, she is a member of a Korean girls group, called Secret, the group is quite popular and has been around for quite a while, they are famous for their sexy concepts (as many other female idols). Anyhow Hyosung is one of the members of this group and is famous for her nice attitude, her "gummy" smile and glamorous body (let's face it most of Korean female idols are just skinny) my personal opinion she looks more healthy.
Now lets talk firts about her song "Good Night Kiss"

The song is cathchy, it is indeed a good selling song! Usually I tend not to like many songs of female idols, because they have something that is quite annoying and quite forced and also you easily get bored of it. But is also my opinion because I prefer song that have more impact (vocal impact) and are more strong in sound. And not many female idols have a strong voice and even if they do, their companies don't give them songs where they can show that potential and give them plain rhythm.
Personally I don't think Hyosung's voice is the greatest one, please don't misunderstand me, I love her but I have to be objective. I think though her voice has potential and maybe her company should train her properly for singing and give her better song that will highlight her voice.
Now lets talk more about the song. As I mentioned before the song is great as selling her debut and it is the song that I will put on my playlist but, there is always a but... it doesn't highlight her voice. But I don't have anything else to complain, personally I enjoyed the song, it captured me immediately, don't know if I will get tired of it soon, I actually I don't think so but maybe later as usually happens with commercial pop. But is a good hit song. Easy to recognize after you listen to it, as a marketing point of view it is perfect selling!

Now the video...the video is sexy, she gorgeus and stunning, I mean if you don't notice that you are blind but for me as a female it is quite awkard to watch. I can recognize if a girl has a good body and I will compliment on that fact, I like to see if a girl is wearing clothes that highlight her attributes. And as I said before I really like her. But the video is clearly targeting males which it is quite unfair. I mean when I was watching I felt awkard and was hoping that noone noticed me watching this video, because felt like watching something bad. I could be my perception but I read some comments and many females didn't felt comfortable watching this. TS Ent could still make a good video with a sexy concept for her but targeting both genders and not selling the image of Hyosung as meat. No offense, but I believe in sexiness that is more natural, not forced and more mature. Wearing little clother and moving provocativedoesn't mean sexiness. Maturity, femenine and elegance show sexiness as well. So my complain is more to the media that is selling missinterpretation of concepts. Because I also know many males who don't feel comfortable with a girl showing too much or moving provocative, they find it fake and awkard.
Ofcourse I know Hyosung can't go against her company, as many idols, and have to do as told.
I like her more in her underwear CF or whatever...she looks more natural and not so forced.
I mean you can tell she is the sexy type but she the lovely type too. She is natural.
Conclusion the image on the video, doesn't suit her completly. She is sexy but cute too, she needs to display her natural beauty and I am sure she has that elegant and feminine sexiness.

Now lets talk about the mini album. the other songs are:  Don't know women (feat  J'Kyun) - Good Night Kiss - I Hate Night Time.
-Don't know women; is up beat, very lively song, for just one details reminded me of "Poison" of Secret (her group) but it is a nice song indeed, another song to my playlist.
-Good Night Kiss; you already know...
-I hate night time; another up beat song, nice for the playlist.
In conclusion, in somehow I am glad to hear a ballad and hear some more energetic songs. As debut, very lively, it is a shame that there is only three songs though...I think everyone will remember her debut and probably we could expect more as solo from her.

Seo In Guk - Bomtanaba (Mellow Spring)

So Today is music review day too. And the chosen song is Mellow Spring (봄 타나봐) by Seo In Guk.

Who is Seo In Guk? He is a Korean solo singer. Most of his songs are ballad and his voice is soft and sweet a real delight for your ears.

So he is back with this simple and sweet song. If you are already familiar with his type of music, you will be glad to hear that he doesn't change his style and has this melodies that highlight his voice perfectly. If you are not familiar with him and think that because he sing ballad song, he could be quite boring, I will tell you, take the time and listen to him, you won't regret.
This song is fresh, perfect to  listen at any time, while walking, looking at the window, enjoying a cup of coffee. It has a slow beat but very lively at the same time.

The video is simple and very creative as well, it matches the song perfectly. He is shown in a very natural way, you can tell that there is not a forced attitude on him. He is just singing comfortably, drinking lots of coffee while waiting for a phone call. A very simple video when you even can feel identified yourself on his position, when you are waiting for "that" phone call would feel like time is eternal no matter what you do!
The colors on this video are also very nice, not too dark and not so bright, just very natural. While watching the video you enjoy the song as well.
What else can I say? Just watch it and enjoy it.
If you don't like the video, I am sure you will like the song anyways.

What about you? Have you watched? What did you think?
